David Fleit, LMFTA | Relationship, Individual & Sex Therapist

Pronouns: He/Him

I support relationships, individuals (adolescents, teens, and adults), and families. I am also a trained sex therapist, working with relationships and individuals on a range of sex and intimacy-related concerns. I am a supportive, compassionate, and collaborative therapist. My goal is to build trust with you by creating a safe and supportive environment. You will always be the expert of your life story. I work with a systemic lens. I believe that everyone is impacted by the systems that surround them, which can include their relationships, family, community, and society-at-large. My hope is to partner and collaborate with you to better navigate the challenges you face and support you in your healing and growth journey.

The therapy modalities I am drawn to include: Emotion-Focused Couple & Family Therapy, Gottman, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Solution Focused, Structural Family Therapy, and somatic awareness.

Prior to becoming a therapist, David worked in the philanthropy and nonprofit sectors, as well as the music industry. Outside of work, David spends his time hanging with his toddler, wife, and two small dogs, enjoying Seward Park, and rooting for New York sports teams (the disappointing ones).
